Tea fieldsLongjingVillage pathsStream valleys

The Longjing area is the heart of Hangzhou's tea country. Hillsides are covered with terraced tea plantations, villages serve fresh-picked Longjing tea, and the valleys are threaded with walking paths that connect tea fields, bamboo groves, and shaded stream beds. The area includes Longjing Village, the famous Nine Creeks valley, Meijiawu tea village, and sections of the broader tea-field trail network. It is one of the most scenic areas for hiking in Hangzhou and most trails are reachable without a car.

How to Get There

Metro + bus

Take metro to a central station, then transfer to a bus heading toward Longjing Village or the tea area. The exact combination will be confirmed during field checks. Use 龙井村 or 龙井茶村 in map apps to plan the route.

A taxi from central Hangzhou to Longjing Village takes roughly 20–30 minutes. Show the driver 龙井村. For Meijiawu, use 梅家坞. Fares are reasonable within the city area.
